Books and Crannies is owned by Ron and Gayle Harris, and Gayle manages the store.  Gayle is in the shop on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.   Ron is a retired Dallas Firefighter, and currently works as a substitute teacher for the Wills Point ISD, and is quite involved with movies and television productions.

Ruth LeVasseur has been with Books and Crannies for over 15 years, and she and her husband Mike raise Haflinger Horses on their place just outside of Terrell.  Ruth is in the store on Friday.

Brenda Newburn is a retired teacher with the Terrell ISD and enjoys working at the store on Thursday.

Holly McLemee is our newest employee - she is in the store on Wednesdays and whenever Gayle needs a day off!  Holly likes to read paranormal romance and is knowledgeable about Young Adult fiction since she has 5 girls of various ages.

Maddie is our resident kitty - having moved to Texas following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  We adopted her from Operation Kindness in Carrollton.  She still has a little Cajun drawl in her meow, but is very happy with her position as official greeter at Books and Crannies.  She will gladly help you make your selections or just keep you company while you shop.  She is very much a "people kitty".
